As those of you who know us, will know, we adopted two fantastic dogs, Gizmo our Rottweiller and Kane our Boxer, from Holly Hedge Sanctuary about 4 years ago, we have also done a bit of babysitting for some tiny puppies too! Since then we have also now got a nutty Great Dane called Marley! (He is from somewhere else though!)
I thought it would be a good idea to add any news or information from the Holly Hedge website that was advertising any fun days or good nights out that were on the horizon, so keep checking for info!
All the ladies, and gents at Holly Hedge work so hard, so why not come along to one of their fun days? Every little helps. look below for details, Please note: They are not in date order!

HUGE FAMILY FUN DAY, SPONSORED WALK & NOVELTY DOG SHOW
SUNDAY, 12th JULY 2009 10.00AM – 4.30PM
ASHTON COURT ESTATE, LONG ASHTON ENTRANCE (DOVECOTE)
THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL PARKING THIS YEAR IN THE FIELD
Calling all our previous “rescues” and anyone who would like to join us for what will be a fun packed day.
Following the great success of last year’s event we have decided to make this year bigger and better.
There will be two walks, Walk 1(1 hour duration) which will start at 10.30am and Walk 2 (30 minutes duration) will start at 11.00am, so you will be back in time to enter the Dog Show. (You must register before you can walk, so please ensure you leave at least 15 minutes to register). Judging for the Dog Show will commence at 12 noon, with registration from 11.00am. There will be 10 Classes for the Dog Show with Trophies, Rosettes, Prize Cards and Prizes given for all winners. Our Judge has yet to be confirmed.
There will be an Agility Dog Display, and if you wish you may “have a go” on the course to see how fit you and your dog are!!
We will have lots of Stalls, BBQ, Pet Photography, Reiki, Angel Reading, Gladiator Joust, Bouncy Castle, Slide, Xtreme Tower and lots more.
There will be a Charity Auction so don’t forget to bring money - lots of bargains!! – unfortunately, we cannot accept cards. Cheques can only be accepted if you have a valid cheque guarantee card.

If you have a Holly Hedge Dog or Cat, you will know how hard we work for our rescues, so please support us and help raise the funds we desperately need for our new Kennel Block project.
